Development and Application of Radioactive Consequence Assessment System for Overseas Nuclear Accident

摘要: 境外核事故放射性后果评价软件(RADCON)将区域气象数值预报和中长距离放射性污染物迁移放射性后果评价集成为一体,可用于模拟全球不同位置释放的放射性污染物的中、长距离输送和扩散及辐射剂量后果。本文介绍了RADCON的基本结构和功能,并以日本福岛第一核电站核事故为例进行了应用实例分析,给出了福岛第一核电站事故大气释放量最高的3月15—16日期间的长距离输送和扩散及其辐射剂量分布的模拟结果。结果表明,RADCON系统能够较真实地反映释放的放射性核素在环境中的迁移趋势和扩散的时空分布,可为应急决策提供技术支持。

Abstract: Regional meteorological numerical prediction and consequences evaluation for long-range transportation of radioactive contaminants are integrated into Radioactive Consequence Assessment System for Overseas Nuclear Accident (RADCON), which is used to simulate radioactive release from any point within the globe. The structure and function of RADCON is described, as well as an application analysis by assuming the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant nuclear accident. Results show that RADCON can truly reflect the spatial and temporal distribution of radionuclides released into the environment and provide technical support for emergency decision.
