Abstract: Both false coincidence methods and spectroscopic methods are mainly employed for radioactive aerosol monitoring, whilethere are two kinds of mode for the latter, i.e. super-channel and dual-channel compensations. The measurement sensitivity thereof is analyzed and estimated. The spurious coincidence and spectroscopy are mainly methods used for radioactive aerosol monitoring, furthermore the spectroscopy methods can be categorized as Super channel-energy compensation method and Double channel-energy compensation method. This paper analyzes and estimates the measurement sensitivity of thethree monitoring methods above.
