Abstract: Electromagnetic wave (EMW) was applied in medical, communication and so on. The frequency and power was becoming higher. Bioelectromagnetic effects had been paid abroad attentions and the study on bioeffect of EMW was under way. However, in many references, irradiating conditions, such as directions of polarization and wave vector, were not detailed so that irradiation dose in organism could not be compared, which is the main reason that the results is in conflict. In this paper, EMW devices from long wave to short wave and its characters were thoroughly introduced, which could be used to study bio-EMW effect of animal in vivo, cells and proteins. Its detecting devices were also presented. It would be benefit to the study of bio-EMW effects and its applications.
