Abstract: This work established an electrolytic enrichment instrument for the determination of tritium in water. Twelve samples are electrolyzed for one time. The initial volume of water sample is 250 mL; the final volume after electrolysis is 8 mL. Electrolysis voltage is 3.0±0.2 V for every electrolysis cell; the current is 12±1 A. After 72 hours of electrolysis, the concentration of tritium in the sample is concentrated by 20±0.5 times. The final sample measured with Quantulus 1220 liquid scintillation spectrometer, the minimum determination limit of tritium is 0.12 Bq/L.
