Analysis of Occupational Health Examination Results of Radiation Workers at a NPP

Abstract: The occupational health examination results of 100 male radiation workers engaged in maintenance, operation, training and technical support, and 40 pre-service male workers, at CGN Huizhou Nuclear Power Plant in 2021, are analyzed. It showes that, for radiation workers, the abnormal ECG rate after 40 years of age increased significantly; the pure tone audiometry, liver function 12 items, fasting blood glucose, blood lipid 4 items, abdominal color ultrasound, andblood pressure abnormality rate were significantly different, increasing with age. It suggests that most of the abnormalities found in the examination are not related to the radiation work performed.
