Demographic and Lifestyle Survey of Medical X-ray Workers in Sichuan Province

Abstract

Abstract: With a questionnaire of demographics and lifestyle, we analyze the educational background, smoking, drinking and tea consumption among 923 randomly selected medical X-ray workers in Sichuan Province. It shows that, compared with the control group, more of them drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes and drink tea, and the difference is significant. It may indicate that, in addition to occupational exposure, lifestyle cannot be ruled out as a confounding factor inducing tumors in medical X-ray workers.
