Abstract: With the wide application of nuclear energy in medical field, the incidence of radiation injury is increasing gradually. Radiation dermatitis is one of the adverse reactions of tumor patients receiving radiation therapy. It is generally manifested as erythema and ulceration on the skin surface, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients and delays the process of radiotherapy. In this paper, the classification and pathogenesis of radioactive dermatitis were introduced, and the research progress of various traditional Chinese medicine preparations in the treatment of radioactive dermatitis was reviewed, providing theoretical basis for the subsequent prevention and treatment. With the wide use of nuclear technology in medicine, the incidence of radiation injury is increasing gradually. Radiodermatitis is one of the adverse reactions of tumor patients receiving radiation therapy, which is generally manifested as erythema and ulceration on the skin surface, and may seriously affect patients’ life quality and delay the treatment. We review the classification and pathogenesis of radiodermatitis, and the research progress of various traditional Chinese medicine preparations in its treatment, providing a theoretical basis for its follow-up prevention and treatment.
