Application of Dicentric Chromosome Analysis in Nuclear/Radiation Emergency Biodosimetry and its Progress

Abstract: Dicentric chromosome analysis, recognized as the gold standard of bio-dose estimation, has been applied to nuclear/radiation victims for nearly 60 years, and has accumulated a wealth of data. We review the status of its application and progress for both manual and automatic methods. It's expected to provide reference for dicentric chromosome based bio-dose estimation in China.
