Abstract: With the rapid development of China′s nuclear energy industry, the supervisory monitoring of the radiation environment has become a key defense line for ensuring nuclear safety and protecting public health. This article systematically reviews the current status of the construction and operation of the supervisory monitoring system for the radiation environment outside nuclear power plants, deeply analyzes and discusses the existing problems and countermeasures of supervisory monitoring, which has practical significance and guiding value for improving the level of supervisory monitoring of the radiation environment of nuclear power plants in China. With the rapid development of China′s nuclear energy industry, radiation environmental supervision and monitoring has become an important guarantee for nuclear safety and public health protection. This paper systematically reviews the construction and operation status of off-site radiation environmental supervision and monitoring systems for nuclear power plants, and conducts an in-depth analysis of the prominent problems within such systems before proposing corresponding solutions. The research possesses practical significance and guiding reference value for advancing the radiation environmental supervision and monitoring capacity of nuclear power plants in China.
