Abstract: Environmental impact assessment of groundwater for nuclear power plant has been a focus after the Fukushima accident. TA three-dimensional numerical simulation to the groundwater at an inland nuclear power plant site was carried out using GMS. Prediction and assessment were then made to the migration mode and influence scope of key radionuclides including H-3, Cs-137, and Sr-90. Results show that H-3 with a relatively fast speed might have an effect on the site, but would not contaminate the river in the north. However, Cs-137 and Sr-90 transported so slowly that they could merely migrate less than 100 meters, had no effect on off-site.
