Abstract: The dicentromere chromosome index in the analysis of chromosome aberrations in peripheral blood lymphocytes is the "gold standard" for estimating biological dose. We review the types of chromosome aberrations in lymphocytes, the process of chromosome preparation, and also FAQ.
