Abstract: The neutron energy spectrum on-site is of great significance for evaluating the design of reactor facilities and monitoring the radiation protection of personnel. We employed two recoil proton spectrometers and a portable neutron dosimeter to measure the neutron energy spectrum and the neutron ambient dose equivalent rate at six different elevations in the reactor building of a CPR1000 unit, and analyzed the results. It's expected to provide reference data for other same NPP units.

Key words: CPR1000, Neutron energy spectrum, Proton recoil spectrometer, Neutron dosemeter, Neutron ambient dose equivalent rate
