Abstract: Tools in nuclear power plants are often scrapped because they become contaminated and cannot be reused, which not only requires the procurement of a large number of new tools, but also increases the production of radioactive waste and the operating costs. A device integrating decontamination, rinsing and drying is designed. Through practice, the purpose of tool reuse, waste production reduction and cost saving has been achieved. The structure, principle and utilisation of the device are introduced, and its shortcomings are mentioned.
