Abstract: The paper introduces the composition,functionalities and main equipments of radiation control area access (RCA) of AP1000 NPPs, analyzes the existing problems of the RCA layout. Combined with the operation management experiences on NPP RCA in China, the improved layout of RCAwas put forward for AP1000 NPPs.
