Abstract: To investigate the radiation resources and frequency in medical institutions in our district, providing a basis for the reasonable formulation of radiation protection strategies. Collect the basic information of all institutions with radiation services (excluding dental clinics) in our district and conduct statistical analysis. There were 54 institutions with radiation services (excluding dental clinics) in our district, with 12 667 staff members and 484 radiation staff members, and 231 pieces of radiation equipment; Personal protective equipment and auxiliary protective equipment totaling 945 items, with insufficient provision of lead hanging protective screens/lead protective curtains, which is 50%; The frequency of X-ray diagnosis was 1 234.1 per 1 000 population, and the frequency of conventional X-ray diagnosis was 488.7 per 1000 population, the frequency of CT diagnosis was 676.3 per 1 000 population, the frequency of dental photography diagnosis was 53.7 per 1 000 population, the frequency of bone density test was 9.7 per 1000 population, the frequency of mammography diagnosis was 5.8 per 1000 population, the frequency of interventional diagnosis and treatment was 6.0 per 1 000 population, the frequency of radiotherapy was 0.4 per 1 000 population, the frequency of nuclear medicine diagnosis was 6.1 per 1 000 population, the frequency of nuclear medicine treatment was 0.3 per 1 000 population; CT diagnosis accounts for the highest proportion in X-ray diagnosis(54.8%);the per 1 000 population frequency of CT diagnosis obviously higher than conventional X-ray diagnosis, this is completely different from other cities. Grasped the basic situation and usage frequency of radioactive treatment institutions in the jurisdiction,CT diagnosis has a significant weightage, it is necessary to recognize the rationality of CT examinations, and strive to minimize the radiation dose received by examinees.
