环境监测中伽马谱分块计数法探测异常放射性

Detection of Abnormal Radioactivity by Gamma Spectrum Block Counting Method in Environmental Monitoring

摘要: 以分块计数法探究碘化钠(NaI)探测器是否能探测异常放射性,以及对于异常放射性设置预警值的具体数值的确定。共使用了40K、133Ba、241Am、60Co等4种放射源进行实验,实验结果认为使用分块计数法探测异常放射性是可行的,NaI探测器的预警值应设置为大于本底计数均值加1~1.5倍本底计数标准偏差。

Abstract: The block counting method is employed to explore whether a sodium iodide (NAI) detector can detect abnormal radioactivity is environmental monitoring, and to determine the specific value of early warning value. Four kinds of radioactive sources, 40K, 133Ba, 241Am and 60Co, were used for the experiment. The results show that it is feasible to use the method to detect abnormal radioactivity. The early warning value should be set to be greater than the mean value of background count plus 1-1.5 times the standard deviation of background count.
