Abstract: This article provides an overview of the legal position and development history of the dual-track radiation environmental monitoring system in nuclear power plants. This article also analyzes the policy requirements and existing problems of the dual-track radiation environmental monitoring system, and proposes improvement suggestions from three aspects: unified regulatory requirements, resource sharing mechanism, and personnel qualification management, with the aim to improve the dual-track radiation environmental monitoring mechanism and enhance the quality and efficiency of radiation environmental monitoring in nuclear power plants.
