A Study on the Effects of Dose, Layer Thickness,and Radiation Quality on the Low Contrast Detectability of CT Images

摘要: 在保持其他参数或条件不变的前提下,研究扫描剂量、层厚、管电压对CT图像低对比可探测能力检测结果的影响,为规范开展CT设备质控检测和标准制(修)订提供数据支持。本研究结果建议,CT设备低对比可探测能力检测时扫描剂量CTDIw应尽量接近50 mGy,最低宜不小于40 mGy;应尽量选择10 mm层厚,最低不宜小于5 mm;单纯管电压对检测结果影响不大,可选择100 kV以上的临床常用管电压。

Abstract: On the premise of keeping other parameters or conditions unchanged, the effects of scanning dose, layer thickness, and tube voltage on the low contrast detectability of CT images were studied. This study will provide data support for testing and standard revision of standardized CT equipment quality control. The results of this study suggests that when detecting the low contrast detectability of CT equipment, the CTDIw should be as close as possible to 50 mGy, and the minimum should not be less than 40 mGy; 10 mm layer thickness should be selected, and the minimum should not be less than 5 mm; The voltage of a single tube is not significant for the detection results, and clinical commonly used tube voltages above 100 kV can be selected.
