摘要: γ辐照装置钴源退役作业须确保相关工作人员及环境的安全。本文从放射源退役作业方案设计、作业实践、风险分析、应急管理等方面总结了湖南辐照中心2024年进行的钴源退役作业实践,为相关的辐照装置放射源退役工作提供参考。

Abstract: The decommissioning of cobalt sources in large γ-irradiation facility is accompanied with some risk, and the radiation safety of operators and the environment during decommissioning should be considered. The experience of the cobalt source decommissioning operation completed by Hunan Irradiation Center in the first half of 2024 is summarized in this paper. The decommissioning operation plan design, operation practice, risk analysis, emergency management and other aspects are described. Good decommissioning practices ensure the health of radiation workers and environmental safety; the good practice can be used as reference for the decommissioning of radioactive source of irradiation equipment.
